Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT SCHEDULE RESERVATION FORM:

To proceed with your trip, a deposit of 50% of the total trip price is required. Please note that this deposit is necessary to purchase train and Machu Picchu entrance tickets, all subject to availability. Your outstanding balance must be paid 48 hours before departure or upon arrival in Cusco or during your briefing session. Failure to pay outstanding balances before departure will result in the inability to participate in your trip.

TRAVEL ITINERARIES:

Excursion itineraries are subject to change based on various circumstances (weather conditions, political or social climate). Missed tours due to the aforementioned incidents (e.g., weather or political conditions) are non-refundable.

CHANGE POLICY:

All date changes for tourist services are subject to a 10% charge of the total excursion cost.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:

Any cancellation made by the passenger 45 days or less before the trip start date will be subject to a 50% fine of the tour price for administrative expenses. Any cancellation made by the passenger 30 days or less before the trip start date will be subject to a 100% fine of the tour price for administrative expenses.

If you cancel or abandon a multi-day trip for any reason:

  • Full payment is required 48 hours before departure. If full payment cannot be made within this timeframe, an alternative payment arrangement must be organized and coordinated. Failure to comply with any of the above points may result in the CANCELLATION of your tour.
  • In the event of delays in arrival in Cusco (due to flight delays, buses, etc.), our company assumes no responsibility for missed tours or trekking departures.
  • Trek cancellations due to illness, missed flights, and any other reason within 48 hours of the scheduled trip departure are considered NO-SHOWS and are subject to full payment AND no refunds will be issued.
  • Emergency transportation costs, etc., are not included in the event of illness on the way.
  • For any last-minute cancellations of any tours offered by the company, they are considered NO-SHOWS.
MEDICAL RELEASES

Please contact the company’s offices if there are passengers over 70 years old or if they suffer from any cardiovascular disease and/or other conditions, in order to prevent any accidents or eventualities.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

For your protection, we recommend purchasing travel insurance. Travel insurance offers trip cancellation or interruption, trip delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, luggage delay coverage, and luggage coverage to protect your financial investment. The medical coverage purchased with your policy will also meet our health insurance requirement.
