Then, bike downhill to Huamanmarca for lunch before continuing to Santa Teresa for a dip in Cocalmayo hot springs. Spend the night in our mountain-suspended capsules. Day two offers extreme sports and a trek to Machu Picchu via Hidroeléctrica, followed by dinner and a cozy stay in Aguas Calientes. Itinerary

FIRST DAY: CUSCO - SANTA MARÍA - SANTA TERESA

Our transportation will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 am, then we’ll head towards the snow-capped Abra Málaga, located at 4500 meters above sea level, which is the highest point of our journey. After approximately 3 hours of travel, we’ll arrive at this mystical location, where our guide will conduct a small Inca ceremony before beginning the downhill bike descent, lasting about 3 hours, until we reach Huamanmarca, an archaeological site, around 1:30 pm, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch.

Next, we’ll continue our journey in a private minivan, which will take you to Santa Teresa in approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, arriving at around 4:00 pm. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful thermal medicinal baths of Cocalmayo. After concluding this activity at 8:00 pm, our mobile unit will pick you up and take you to our Capsules, suspended on the mountain, which is a 30-minute journey. Upon reaching this impressive mountain hotel, you’ll relish an exquisite dinner at our dome restaurant capsule. Later in the evening, you’ll join the rest of the group for a bonfire before retiring for a restful night in our dormitory capsules, where you can appreciate the sky and stars from the comfort of your bed.

SECOND DAY: SANTA TERESA – HYDROELECTRIC PLANT – MACHUPICCHU

This day will begin very early at 6:00 am, to enjoy a delicious breakfast on the terrace of our dome restaurant capsule. Then, you’ll partake in extreme adventure sports that we offer, such as crossing the Tibetan or hanging bridge with over 150 meters in length and 200 meters in height, followed by zip-lining, accompanied by our mountain guides. After this exhilarating activity, our transportation will take you to the Hydroelectric Plant, with a travel time of approximately one hour, arriving around 12:00 pm, where lunch will be served. Then, we’ll continue our journey with a hike to Aguas Calientes, for approximately 3 hours, arriving in the beautiful city of Aguas Calientes around 5:30 pm, where you’ll have dinner and rest in comfortable accommodation.

THIRD DAY: MACHUPICCHU – OLLANTAYTAMBO - CUSCO

This is the day you’ve been eagerly anticipating, the day to visit the majestic sanctuary of Machu Picchu. We’ll wake up very early to witness the sunrise and the Inca city awakening. Your guided tour of the Inca sanctuary will be accompanied by our guide at all times, ensuring you don’t miss any detail of this unique place in the world. After the guided tour of approximately two hours, you’ll have free time to explore Aguas Calientes until it’s time to return to Cusco, which will be around 4:00 pm, via train to Ollantaytambo, where our private transportation will be waiting to bring you back to the city of Cusco.

Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT SCHEDULE BOOKING FORM

A deposit of 50% of the total price of the trip is required to make your trip. Please note that this deposit is required to purchase train and Machu Picchu entrance tickets, all subject to availability. Your outstanding balance is due 48 hours prior to departure or upon arrival in Cusco or during your briefing. Failure to pay outstanding balances prior to departure will result in the inability to participate in your trip.

TRAVEL ITINERARIES

The itineraries of the excursions are subject to changes based on a variety of circumstances (weather conditions, political or social climate). Tours missed due to the incidents listed above (e.g., weather conditions or political climate) cannot be refunded.

CHANGE POLICY:

All date changes for tourist services are subject to a 10% charge of the total excursion cost.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:

Any cancellation made by the passenger with 45 days or less before the trip start date will be subject to a 50% fine of the tour price for administrative expenses. Any cancellation made by the passenger with 30 days or less before the trip start date will be subject to a 100% fine of the tour price for administrative expenses. If you cancel or leave a multi-day trip for any reason: 

  • Full payment is required 48 hours before departure. In case of inability to make full payment within this time frame, an alternative payment arrangement must be arranged and coordinated. Failure to comply with any of the above points may result in the CANCELLATION of your tour. 
  • In the case of delays in arriving in Cusco (due to flight delays, buses, etc.), our company assumes no responsibility for missed tours or trekking departures.
  • Cancellations of treks due to illness, missed flights, and any other reason within 48 hours of the scheduled trip departure are considered NO-SHOWS and will be subject to full payment with no refunds.
  • In case of illness on the way, emergency costs for transportation, etc., are not included.
  • For any reservation for any tour offered by the company, last-minute cancellations are considered NO-SHOWS.

Contact the company’s offices if there are passengers over 70 years old or if they have any cardiovascular disease and/or other conditions, in order to prevent any accidents or eventualities

TRAVEL INSURANCE

For your protection, we recommend purchasing travel insurance. Travel insurance offers trip cancellation or interruption, trip delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, baggage delay, and baggage coverage to protect your financial investment. The medical coverage purchased with your policy will also meet our health insurance requirement.
